SHI Yu, ZHANG Hua, YU Zhihan
Resources & Industries    2021, 23 (2): 100-109.   DOI: 10.13776/j.cnki.resourcesindustries.20201125.010

To discover if the electric vehicles have the good energy-saving and emission-reducing merits in their lifecycles, this paper applies lifecycle evaluation and GREET model to calculate their energy consumption and pollution emission of PHEV and BEN, and compares the results with the traditional vehicles (GICEV) to evaluate their environmental benefits of EV. PHEV and BEV are lower than the GICEV in total energy consumption during the lifecycles by 18.94% and 24.72%, with outstanding energy saving advantages on driving. The two EVs have lower pollution emissions than GICEV in CO2, NOx, CO and VOC, of which BEV contributes most to CO and VOC emission reduction by 90.34% and 44.39%; however, SOx has an increment by 2.57 times. Generally, PHEV and BEV decrease the environmental loads by 24.25% and 40.72% compared with GICEV. When considering the negative externality, the pure economic costs of EVs are closer to the real costs, favorable for emission reduction. China will benefit from expansion of EV if Chinas energy structure can be optimized.

DECOUPLING LEVEL AND DRIVING FACTORS OF INDUSTRIAL ENERGY CARBON EMISSION AND ECONOMIC GROWTH IN YANGZI RIVER URBAN AGGLOMERATION
TIAN Ze, ZHANG Huaijing, HUANG Mengmeng, et al
Resources & Industries    2020, 22 (6): 29-36.   DOI: 10.13776/j.cnki.resourcesindustries.20201126.002

Yangzi river urban agglomeration, as a vital place situated in the down-stream of Yangzi river economic zone, is a leading engine of "1+3" key functioning area in Jiangsu province. Green ecological construction of Yangzi river urban agglomeration is of strategic sense for constructing new Jiangsu and protecting Yangzi river. This paper studies the decoupling level and driving factors of industrial energy carbon emission of Yangzi river urban agglomeration. Its industrial carbon emission generally shows an increasingly fluctuating trend, with Nanjing and Suzhou much larger than other cities. The decoupling has roughly undergone expanding linkage, strongly decoupling and weakly decoupling, overall a rising decoupling level, unstable, varying largely with urban agglomeration, but in process of optimization. Factors such as carbon emission intensity effect and energy intensity effect promote the decoupling level, but offset by industrial economy size, regional economy proportion and energy structure. This paper presents suggestions on boosting tentative construction of low carbon city, establishing whole domain carbon exchange market, optimizing energy structure and stimulating scientific innovation, in order to promote a quality development of Yangzi river urban agglomeration.

ENVIRONMENT AND ECONOMY ANALYSIS ON ENTIRE LIFE CIRCLE OF NEW ENERGY VEHICLES BASED ON GREET MODEL
JIN Li'na, LU Yiya, XIE Jingyuan, LEI Yu, ZHANG Hua
Resources & Industries    2019, 21 (5): 1-8.   DOI: 10.13776/j.cnki.resourcesindustries.20190904.001
Abstract647)      PDF(pc) (8115KB)(398)       Save
This paper applies GREET model and WTW system to compare their energy consumption and pollution emission in a form of currency between the traditional petroleum and new energy vehicles (battery electrical, hybrid and fuel cell vehicles) during their entire life circles. On energy consumption, new energy vehicles save energy under similar energy structure and technical parameters. BEV is on the top in energy consumption with a decrease by 42% with the traditional petroleum vehicles. New energy vehicles chiefly contribute to carbon emission reduction, falling by 5.78% on hybrid, 32.86 on feul cell, and 21.54% on BEV compared to traditional, but with an increase by 35.36% on acid rain pollution emission. From the total costs, new energy vehicles are lower than the traditional except the BEV. Developing new energy vehicles, especially the BEV, is somewhat of more advantages than disadvantages, which may be improved as China's energy structure alters. 

Resources & Industries    2013, 15 (2): 6-13.
Abstract1418)      PDF(pc) (1666KB)(1023)       Save

Xuzhou, a typical resource-exhausted city with sole industrial structure, less economic growth point, and poor employment, is facing vast structural unemployment due to the exhausted resource. It is challenge that a labor transfer is unavoidable. This paper, based on a case study on Xuzhou, under the precondition of resource-exhausted city theory and surplus labor transfer mode theory, uses qualitative and quantitative method to analyze the feature of Xuzhous labor transfer, and presents approaches to a proper selection of surplus labor transfer mode, which guarantees a full employment for this transferred labors and promote a sustainable development in its economy.

Controlling iron ore scale shall be one of strategies in the sustainable development of China’s steel industry. This paper analyzes crude steel production, iron ore reserve, foreign-dependence degree of iron ore and global iron ore market, concludes that China should control around 40% of the global iron ore production, and presents approaches to this scale in cooperation, joint venture acquisition, mining and establishing iron ore guaranteeing system.

ESTABLISHMENT AND OPTIMIZATION OF XINJIANG'S COAL RESOURCE INDUSTRIAL CHAIN
Zhang Hua-guo, Yu Guo-he
Resources & Industries    2012, 14 (2): 93-97.
Abstract2759)      PDF(pc) (1360KB)(2362)       Save

Xinjiang's traditional coal resources are developed in a primitive way with a low added value and wasted resource, which is harmful to environment and requires an extended coal industrial chain maximizing the comprehensive benefits of coal industry. This paper, according to industrial chain theory, analyzes the input/output data, establishes a coal industrial chain which is based on coal-power, coal-chemicals and highly-energy-consuming industry, and extends the chain to market. At the same time, a transverse chain is also set up based on finance-coal-transportation and stock.
